Chasing the Light for a Family Portrait
Last year I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little girl for her 1st birthday. This year, her mother contacted me and asked that I photograph her 2nd birthday also. For me, the best form of payment is when a client continues to request my services.
I will admit again that when it comes to photography I am obsessed with light. I personally always select a location for its light, except when a client has their heart set on one in particular. For this photoshoot, it was left all up to me. It was a beautiful summer day in July right as the sun was beginning to set. I couldn't have asked for better light than the one I found there. I selected a small park in which a small stream ran down its middle. I was extremely lucky to have both a location and light in equal amounts of phenomenal quality.
Little Abigail, a sweet and vibrant girl, made my job very easy for a couple of hours. Here are some of the memories I captured during the photoshoot.
